I grew up in San Diego around Corvette's in the 70's & 80's. Loved them all and my Dad always leased a new one every 3-4 years (he was a small popular business man). The last Corvette he had was the 84. My sister had her daughter, so Dad had traded that one in on an 89 GTA (Grand Trans Am), to fit everyone in. ;) Anyway, I've was brought up around Chevrolets and the neighbors showed me alot with their "toys". Needless to say, after high school I got into automotive and soon found myself enjoying the Fbody cars (Camaro's / Firebird's) AKA as the "poor mans corvette". After 25+ years of buying, modifying and trading vehicle's I finally had the chance to grab this C5, and I jumped on it. So here I am and here's a photo of my first personally owned Corvette. Long time car guy, first time Vette owner, bought my 88 vert a couple of years ago from the original owner. Had only 29k miles on it and never spent a night outside the garage.
