Shawn
I just got my AZ Historic Vehicle license plate. At the top it reads "Arizona 77". What is the "77" designate? The year of my Corvette is 1971. I thought that the plate should read "Arizona 71". Thanks

C4orce2
I think that is the year the state started the historic plates... I believe you are right. I think every historic plate I've seen has 77 on it.
Norse Pagan
I'm not sure why it's there, but I think it's on my Bronco's plate as well.
Desertdawg
nothing a little tape and spray paint can't fix!
Eddie44
77 was the year they started the current style historic plate. Most people don't know that if you can find a plate the year of your collector car and the number isn't currently registered you can put it on and register it to your vehicle. I've been looking for a good 66 AZ plate for my 66 Stingray.
anmracing2
We got personal plates that have the same number/letters of a 1969 plate on the MOPAR. Not too many ppl notice but the ones that do seem to like it..
