I'm still hoping to go, don't know if I'm stuck on call that night yet.....

You should pickup those wheels and drag radials from ALLUDC....cheap, and since you're an auto the 27+ height won't be as big of an issue as they are with a manual car.

Hope you can make it :thumbs

I'm going to try to get into the 11's on streets, If I spin then I'll figure out what I'm going to do. I'm not a big track whor... junkie like you guys so I can't see spending much just to chsse a number.

Tom,

What do I need to do the prop mod on the shroud?

I think he wanted less than $100 for the setup.

I'll bring what you'll need and we'll do it there.

I've been as quick as 11.45 on Invos, but if I get booted, you can use my DRs.

Gates open at 6:00???

I won't be fully race ready, so if you plug in some numbers to pair me up, don't expect me to go under 11.50. (Unless it's a close race :edward: )

DA should range from 2600' early, to 1600' late.

You're correct...gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Maybe some of us can meet up somewhere for a beverage before hand, as I'll drive my car to the office and head straight down there instead of going home.

You should just put your track wheels on at home and drive down on them to maximize the number of runs you could possibly get in.

DRs are in storage about halfway to Firebird, but the track never goes hot till 7 PM anyway.

Maximizing the number of runs means never dipping below 11.50. :LolLol:

We'll have the stacker there complete with air tools if anyone needs a hand.

I asked Steve (in the racing gas thread) if he might be able to bring two gallons of the VP 109 to the track for me and I'll pay you guys at the track....it'll save me a trip from the extreme NW Valley over to the shop :)

Make sure you come to the track with as little fuel in the tank as possible...then get a gallon or two of the sweet stuff from Dave. You'll be pissed if you get within a tenth or so of your 11 second ET...be prepared :smilelol

Don't over octane. You don't want more than 95 to eliminate knock retard. If you still have KR then you need the tune adjusted, because too much octane will slow you down. Get a good estimate of the remaining 91 octane to calculate what's needed for the correct blend before you add anything. Also make sure you have less than 1/2 tank, so that any you add will all go into the left tank, instead of flowing into the right tank.

If Dawg gets within a tenth, I'll get him an 11.99 for sure.

Me and MikeG are going to meet at the casino bar near Firebird (Wild Horse Pass Casino?) around 4:00 or thereabouts. The track doesn't open until 6:00 p.m. , so if anyone else wishes to hangout with us before hitting the track let me know. Other than that, see you guys there !!!! :partydance:
