Cross
I have to admit... I kinda like it. I thought the TS was different though... I thought there was more to it. more off topic pictuers Can I ask where you got it... now that I know I can not see it in person... I like it I can not tell you why I just like it. Fitment issues? Also is it just me or does it take different side marker/turn signal lights?

I had Joes Classic gold do it many moons ago. same turn signals, same break ducts, same rad schroud. while I had no precise measuring equipment, just a guess, I should have added some vents into the hood. when driving at high speed (120+) the nose felt like it wanted fo 'float'. I think (guess) the added air from the front opening created a positive presure zone in the engine bay and raised the car.

Chameleon
Donna I wanted that 954RR sooo bad when they came out!! I'd take that Blackbird too! Nice list! Hey Dean, the Blackbird was a great bike, but that 954RR was awesome. It was a perfect fit for me, the size of a 600 but the power of a liter bike. Wow! It moved like a rocket but was very well mannered and stable. It's funny, I didn't like the 929 or the 1000, but the 954 was just right. Not sure what the subtle difference was. I still miss that 954. YOU SHOULDA' GOT ONE!!

FNBADAZ06
My first (and last) attempt at full restoration of a car.....my Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro Z28/RS 302 "DZ" car. I've got so many pictures of this restoration....bought all new NOS OEM body panels for this car back in the mid 80's straight from Orielly Chevrolet, including rear quarters and rear valence !!! The restoration detail crap, and associated ass-wipe judges at Super Chevy car show events I took the car to, was the final straw that had me leaving the hotrod/muscle car scene completely...it wasn't fun anymore after the investor garage queen camp showed up and displaced the "true" musclecar enthusiast. Plus, restoration cost big bank and the car wasn't fast (by my standards). These pic's were taken the day I sold her at an All Chevy car show. Ironically, the car I spent the most blood, sweat, tears, and money on, I was happy the day she left with a new owner who would appreciate and pamper her. I have owned a Ford product, a 1970 Torino GT fastback with 351 Cleveland 4V "Shaker" and 3 speed auto......very cool car and unique. No pic's of mine but it looked exactly like this one, with the exception that mine also had the rear "wing" spoiler. I had one Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge product.....a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda fastback with the 273 "Commando" single barrel V8. I used it as a daily driver while going to U of A, while the 69 SS/RS Camaro remained my "cool" car Looked excactly like this one to a T... My strangest car ????? I "won" this car on a bet that I couldn't get it running I drove it around a bit as a novelty but gave it to my youngest sister to drive to h.s. when she was a senior The only evidence I ever owned this car...... If you can identify just the make of the car , I'll buy your lunch at today's ACE lunch (first person to respond correctly). Get the year right and I'll buy you dessert as well. Hint: the motor was an I4 .8 liter .

He had a 1960s mini and a 1960s Simca that we used to have fun wrenching on. We got more looks in those cars then I ever have in the Vette. People were always really curious about the Simca. Marco
I was a big Camaro fan back in the day owning about 8 of them. Second to last Camaro was a built 69, sporting chrome, leaded seams.. pearl white with candy color graphics done by a friend who would normally charged 11k for a paint job like that (i only paid for the paint). Sold it when the ol lady and I broke up. Owned many custom 4x4s and always had one up until 11 years ago when I finally got tired of fixing 4x4 shit every weekend. Had an 4x4 El Camino SS almost identical to this 'cept black ...it was a chick magnet at the salt river we used to hang out at on the weekend days and the desert parties at night.....ooooh the stories. Grayeagle
*nice* cars an bikes .. it's the memories they bring that really make 'em shine IMHO. Some of the most memorable: '55 Chebby 2-door post ..lite blue/white ..292 six 3-gear .. my first car when I was 15, learned to drive in Montana winters Dad was in the USAF, when we had to move to Phoenix I had to sell it or I would probably still have that car .. modified a bit '67 GTX, 426 Hemi 4-gear, 4.10's ..had 20k miles on her, paid $2700 from Sunland Mercury up in Glendale the summer of 1969. I worked on a Survey Crew after graduating from Alhambra on Camelback ..we were mappin out Prescott a lot that summer. .. even Firestone 'Cheaters' on the back were nowhere near enough if I launched over 1500rpm ..but ooo bay-bee she would howl to 7k shifts and just rip by others. I pulled all the Hemi emblems off the second week .. no one would come up next to her at a stoplight .. LOL. She sounded sooo good. My Dad was scared to ride in her Spoiled me for life .. copper metallic with matching interior on Cragar SS's ..-shakes head- .. I never took a pix of her but she was beautiful at sunset and on Central Ave here in Phx When I punched it .. it did not feel like a big car at all. I learned all about spark plugs and timing for a fact It got 4mpg 'cruising' ..and you could see the gas gauge go down when you punched it. I remember spendin 10 bucks for gas for a nite on Central at 25 cents a gallon for Sunoco. '69 Road Runner 4-gear 383, bought from Mechum in '71 .. when the pix was taken I had just put a 426 wedge motor (11:1 compression, dual carter AFB's, headers an such) in and 4.30 gears ..it ran a bit better than most, still a huge car but the motor/gears made it feel much smaller My first 'project car' .. '64 Malibu w/L-88 stuffed in it. Gawd. It was a ROCKET when I got thru with it. Runnin the valves on Friday evenin for the weekend fun. 13+ to 1 compression (LS-6 heads were shaved a bit and ported) ..my first tunnel ram car, Holly 660's had 850 baseplates and venturi's were smoothed, throttle plates knife-edged .. cam was General Kinetics 334 duration .617 lift w/solids, she idled at 2k rpm and would zing to 7600 rpm in a heartbeat, in gear or not The motor literally tore the car up .. I learned about chrome moly driveshafts, 12 bolts, cast iron case 4-gears, ..it's a wonder the roof wasn't wrinkled Ran a 10.38 at Beeline one fine day, bogged it off the line doin *that* .. was my first try with 10" slicks on and it needed a bit more .. second attempt at 3500rpm she took off hard, when I jammed second the right rear shock went thru the back window when the shock mount broke .. ROFL .. was an Air shock, so the car dropped onto the slick, was a bit of a 'moment' gettin her off to the side and stopped. Had to 'redo' the wheel flare on that side and re-shoot it .. it was *always* somethin with that car .. but .. when she held together .. ohh man. Skinny guy in the blue shirt on the right was me .. back in the day stationed at Davis-Montham Road Runner is on the right Speedway Boulevard .. ohh yaaa could be found most nights near Bob's Big Boy ;) '68 Dodge Coronet R/T My first trophy bracket racin . . I was stationed at George AFB then ..runnin the car at Hi-Desert Raceway (1/8th mile) ..the track was on base run by Bernie Longjohn, who later took over LACR. Car was 440 powered, 4:88 geared, automatic ..a daily driver that I added a few bits to so it would run better (850 Holly, Weiand intake, headers, hemi-cam, etc) Traded the big Dodge for this small one '70 with the scat pac ..340 w/202 heads, auto, 3.91 gears .. it ran 12's at Orange County ..with hubcaps and all .. LOL. (of course it had a few upgrades ..750 Holly, Weiand intake, headers, purple-shaft hydrastic cam ..had to baby it off the line big time, wheel wells were just too small to get any decent tire under it) B-econo dragster I worked on ..it's the 'Tom an Jerry' ex-Top Fuel car. Had a 327 w/powerglide in it, ran 9.30's very consistently. Then came Duster .. my last project car to date .. Chrysler announced their B-motor K-member for an A-body and I had to try it. Got a 440 six pac motor, launched very well on any given day ..later converted to tunnel ram .. car was an anvil. I ran it for 15+ years, daily drove it to work an back, cruised it, bracket raced it, even drove to some of my TDY's while Kathy used the Dodge when I was away. ..why yes. .. it could 'turn a tire' on demand I did all the welding, painting, bodywork, engine building, chassis setup, tuning, and campaigned the car in brackets in SoCal while I was there. 4-time bracket final invitations.. always had something go wrong there, never made it to the finals .. was a runnin joke by the 4th year, LOL. The last 4 years I ran the car I was always in the top 4 .. would usually red light in the finals cause I pushed the envelope LACR would pay me to race .. basically .. cause a top 4 finish was worth a few hundred dollars ..the car and I were insanely consistent by then. -Frank (there were others, these are the ones that scratched 'the itch' most)
