FNBADAZ06
While b.s.ing in another thread, I thought it might be cool to have a thread about all the cool (and not so cool ) cars you've owned in the past, and a place to post pic's of them if you have any. I was lucky enough to get a few pic's of my cars back then, but not all of them.....most were 1st Gen Camaro's. Take a trip down memory lane and post those bad boyz up if you've got them !!!!! FNBADAZ06 1969 SS/RS 396 4 speed Camaro....updated to 427 power !!! 1986 Camaro Z28 IROC, TPI 5.0 liter 5 speed manual 1987 Camaro Z28 IROC, TPI 5.7 liter auto Played with small displacement econo-car after college but stayed with Chevy....my 1988 Chevy Turbo Sprint !!! 1.0 liter 3 cyclinder 70 HP , 107 torque when stock Great little auto-x when boosted to 110 HP and 15" Shelby wheels and 195/50VR/15's where installed in place of the 12" OEM wheels...1600 lbs curb weight . Car and Driver tested a 0-60mph time of 8.7 seconds, with a top speed of 104mph. Not bad for its time (stock), and the 37/43mpg city/highway fuel economy didn't hurt either. Didn't give up on monster motor cars....see the ass of my 1970 SS 454 LS5 Chevelle in the background in the carport

White handset with a curly cord mounted on a white dash that was smoked. Lowered with full length lake pipes, Cruiser skirts, Fiesta caps, shaved hood/deck/doors, tuck and roll, frenched lights/antenna. Cool stuff in '63. Steve@LPM
You were swinging some expensive heavy metal for a young dude !!!! In high school I worked 40 hour weeks along with going to school full time. Pretty much every penny I made went into that Mustang lol. I bought it off the original owner for $3500 and it had 92k original miles on it. It was owned by an old woman, was white with a black vinyl top. I later converted it to a 5-speed manual from the C4 auto.

Big Poppa
I can sooooooo see Victor sportin' the IROC. Shirt all unbuttoned to here, chest hair out, gold chain.... Just a few of mine... Mine were never really all that exciting. Never had the cash... These are just the ones I have pics of. The first car I ever owned.. 1980 280ZX My second car, 1985 MR2. Cleaned house in AZ SCCA autocross with this car. It went downhill when I had to move out of the house... 85 Toyota pickup 77 Toyota Celica 88 Toyota MR2 Then I married a stripper, and her income made things a bit better... 89 Supercharged MR2 88 Acura Legend I used as my beater on a delivery job. 85 Toyota P/U that replaced the Acura when it died. 85 4Runner that replaced the P/U when I wanted to go places I couldn't with the P/U Sold the SC MR2 for a new sportbike, the blue 01 R1 in the middle here. My first bike. The Green 96 ZX7RR came next, and the red 89? VFR400 (grey market bike) was for the wife, who never rode it. Sold the 4Runner for the 96 Dually to haul the bikes around. And cause I like Dually's. The wife's first car of my choosing... 95 Accord Replaced that with a brand new 03 TL Type S The ZX7RR got stolen, and I sold the blue R1, then traded the Dually and the wife's bike for my 93? Typhoon. Only 47,000 miles on it and 1 of only 17 made in this color. The 02 Z was my roommate's. It ws mine for about 3 days before the finance company could respond. After driving the Typhoon for a few months, and deciding that no matter how quick it was, it was still an S10, and with a divorce fast approaching, I sold it and bought an 88 MR2 and my red 00 R1, that was quickly dubbed "afterbirth". http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj8/im28702/mycars/88mr2black.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj8/im28702/mycars/00R1.jpg Had those for a year or so, and started to make enough money to not have to eat macaroni every night, so I bought an 03 Tacoma 4x4, and bolted on a lift and supercharger. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj8/im28702/mycars/03tacoma.jpg After my first 6 months, my insurance lapsed for a week or so, and then upon re-instating, they raised the premium to over $400 a month, so the tacoma went away, and I bought an 88 4Runner that I have no pics of. No reason to take pics of it, it was a turd. And in this collection, that means something. In the custody battle for my daughter from the stripper (not much of a battle BTW), she told me that if I had a new car, she would give me the kid. So, the next day, I picked up an 04 Civic SI, and subsequently, my daughter. HATED every minute of this car, but the sacrifice was worth it. Sorta. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj8/im28702/mycars/civic003sm.jpg Then sold the Civic for an 01? Accord coupe. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj8/im28702/mycars/accord001.jpg

Big Poppa
Bought another ZX7 as no matter how slow it was, I just seemed to get along with that bike. Then, when my daughter moved out to go live with her bio dad, freedom was upon me, and I sold the Kawi, and traded the Accord on the Vette, seen below. This is the car that I have owned the longest. Added an 04 R1 a year or so later as you just can't get the sportbike syndrome out of your system once it's there. Then amidst recent unemployment, I sold the R1, and bought Pimpness. Y'all know this turd.

Got this 1974 Camaro for 1200.00 Bought a new 1985 Z-28, 305 5 speed. That was a good car. Sold the Z-28 and bought a 1978 Pace Car. Traded the Pace Car for a new 1987 Buick Grand National.
