How about your favorite none Vette shirt? Example would be an In and Out Burger shirt with classic hotrod/streetrod on the back, maybe a NASCAR shirt, etc. Just a thought!

So he's grounded.

Karen - can Kameron come out and play? We PROMISE to behave. :D

She knows us better than that!! Maybe if we tell her that he can follow you in the DeLorean. We all know it won't do over the speed limit (but it does look good doing it). :smilelol: :smilelol:

And again I got to add 2 more to the list..... :D

Hey, maybe you guys can help, look at the list and see if you can help me find the ones with (passenger???) next to them and see if they are coming alone or not. I need as accurate a count as I can so I know how much brisket to pit....

I got an interesting phone call today. It came up with a Yuma area code, so I thought it was my customer (Yuma Regional Medical Center) calling about my trip out there next week.

It wasn't. It was a person who says he does freelance photography for a auto magazine, Import Tuner I do believe was the name. I was listening to him on the cell phone in one ear and my customer in my other, so I didn't get the full details. He was interested in our event and wanted to know how many cars would be there. I am hopefully going to meet up with him next week in Yuma and talk about him coming out for some BBQ and maybe A.C.E. getting some photos taken.

So, remember to wax up the cars well, shine those wheels and get the streaks off the windows, we may have some press coverage coming our way.

Dwayne - Chad told me that he is bringing 3 people with him.

Come on - you need to be more open minded to the import cars. I know a few that will smoke most Vettes on the road.

That and the "ricers" of today will be the Vette owners of tomorrow.

I think I may have been one of the original ricers in the U.S.

I had a 1987 Sprint Turbo that we did the same things today's ricers do. I chopped the exhaust and put a much louder free flowing muffler on it, raised the boost, lightened the car, and even did geeky things like "euro-wippers" and rally lights. I turned out (semi)normal though -- give them a chance.

Actually I'm a tuner fan myself. :yesnod: I even had a WRX for awhile. I've even got a "tuner" vette with my lights and flair. I had to ham it up for the other vette dudes.

But I still wonder what the deal is. Is he doing something for a Vette or muscle car mag too? Maybe advertising pics? Or are the import tuners getting Corvette friendly all of a sudden? Enquiring minds want to know.
