Ok, well just cross over Bell (north side) and go up a few driveways. There'll be one with a big brown/brick building up by the street with an opening in a wall...turn right there and go out to the front of the store and start looking for vettes. :lol

3:15am I'm done gambling........ For today! We all made it here safe, the worst was the flying gravel north of wikiup. But no one was pulled over by the dozen or so smokies we saw. Oh and the best line of the day, I came from the back of the pack all the way to the front to catch Jay at a buck and a half, he see's me in the mirror and tells Corina someone is finally catching up. She asks if it's the blue grand sport and he says no it's dawg. She says, you mean Santa Clause drives fast !!! :eek Damn I hate these tiny iPhone keypads :toetap

Got up early and made it home safe. Had a great time. Thanks Tim and Johnnie for setting this up each year. Slots would not hit for me. Played for almost 2 hours at the black jack table sitting by Dawg on $40. We were doing good until Silveno (the card dealer from he!!) sat down. He got all of my chips with a smile on his face. Next time I will try Dawgs diversionary tactics on him ( I never have my camera with me when these great picture opportunities show up). I'll let Dwayne tell you about that.

Blue Angel Vette

Just got back to Yuma in one piece. Erlynda and I had a great time. She walked off the casino floor last night with about $600, and I broke even, so all in all it paid for everything and then some. It was awesome meeting some of you. Photos included. Rich, I will also post these on the YumaAce Website. :ACE:

Run To Da River Pics

Edit: For finally figuring out how to run the album as a slide show. Duh.

We've been home for a couple hours now, safe and sound.

Who would have thought at Hemi Grand Cherokee would run triples with me on the way back. :edward:

Even though the gambling SUCKED it was a fun drive up. Thanks to Tim and Johnnie for all the hard work and those who donated to the raffle.

Got a text from Jim on the way home warning of the popo outside of Wickenburg, but only saw a sherrif and DPS inside Wickendburg. Must have gone for doughnuts. :lol

Tim and Johnnie: Great job again. Jay and I would like to thank you so much for all the effort you put into the planning this trip every year. We really appreciate it. This has to be one of the best years for us. Fun drive up, and thanks to Rich, the river cruise was a blast. Also, the campers on the beach put on a great floor show for us. Meant some great folks from Yuma. Tim, sign us up for next year....I want to beat Sean again. Dianne

I must be stupid. Go to Laughlin, lose money, come home.

Really, it was a great time, the Yuma group really enjoyed themselves. :partydance:

Here are some pics I took. I was up with the sun, and met the crew at our local meeting place. We stopped in Lake Havasu for a sandwich, then off to Kingman and the Route 66 museum. Dawg called us when the Phoenix group was close, so we jumped in the cars and timed it perfect to hook up with them. That couldn't have gone any better, and the sprint to Davis Dam was a cool site, two lanes of bright colored corvettes cruising over the mountain. All of us went on the river cruise, and some took advantage of the friendly bar on board. Dinner was crablegs and everything else at the buffet, They had set up two rows of tables for ACE. Then it was time for some refreshments with Jay and Dianne.

We left this morning at 10, and took it easy down to Lake Havasu, went across Londdon Bridge and had lunch at the Brewery. Good food. Then on to Yuma.

Thanks to Tim and Joni for their hard work. Lots of beer needs to be bought for them. http://www.arizonacorvetteenthusiasts.net/arizonavette/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/LPMcrew.gif :rockon2:

whoo hooo and we are finally home. Marco, Lisa, Corina and I stayed the latest out of the group. We left in the afternoon after losing our a** some more in the casino and having breakfast before hitting the road. Took the route up to Wickenburg then took the cut off down Vulture Mine Road (for my first time) That road was AWESOME!!!! Best part of the drive hands down! We didnt see one cop on the entire drive home until we got on the 10 in Buckeye and seen DPS with someone pulled over. The drive out was awesome too with the exception of a couple new rock chips...2 of those 3/4 way up on my hood of all places. Some how I lead the pack 90% of the way out there (at times by many miles!) so I think that saved me from any extra rock chips lol. Casino...sucked! I lost close to 700.00 on the casino floor. BUT hey we had fun. Blackjack with the dawg was fun and even more fun was playing "Cash Spin" with Marco and Lisa at 2am...what a riot that was! So besides losing 700.00 the only other mishap over the weekend was I got locked out of my room (with ALL of my stuff still inside). When Tim checked out they checked my room out also (I guess Tim didnt add my name to the room we were in) so security nor hotel management would let me in the room to get my things let alone let us stay in the room that was paid for. So after management tried to contact Tim numerous times without an answer and me trying to call Tim without any luck I went back and spent close to an hour of arguing back and forth with the manager again before they finally told me that they would use my credit card and allow me in the room for the night. What a HUGE hassle. Still yet to get a call back from Tim though....Tim you lose your phone? :toetap So next year whoever wins the raffle prize for the room...make sure your name is added as a guest of that room. BBQ at my river house was probably the highlight of the time out there. There was only 8 of us but it was real nice. Relaxed out by the river in my backyard, BBQ up some Buffalo Burgers and had some drinks. It was real nice. Of coarse we got a great photo of Dawg "chasing Butterflies" ill have to post up later lol. All in all...great weekend! :clap
