Desertdawg Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 We're leaving McDonalds at 8am and our next stop will be Burger King in Wickenburg. I would prefer that with the exception of DD and crew we meet at the McDonalds because there will be maps and directions for everyone. Last year we had 5 or 6 that took off "to play" once we got up Yarnell and they missed the turn. We will be avoiding downtown Prescott. Jack and I will be leaving the Texico on the west end of Gila Bend at 7:00am. We will be heading west on I-10 at state route 85 around 7:30. That should put us at the food mart / gas station at the intersection of Vulture mine road and the road to Kingman at 0900 hrs. NW Phx to Wickenberg, up Yarnell Hill to Prescott, over Mingus Mtn to Sedona. Lunch will be at the same place Relics MEETING PLACE: I-17 and Carefree Hwy (McDonald's) TIME: 7:30 am with departure promptly at 8:00 am We had over 40 Vettes and about 75 people last year so it's a must do event.
