92ZR1Wannabe
Some of you may have noticed that I have not made it to the last couple of events, or even posted for awhile. In early Jan , I herniated a disc in my lower back. Pain was so bad i could barley stand or walk. It was 3 weeks before i could even tolerate to ride ina car. 6 weeks later things are somewhat back to normal, I have finally gone back to work and things are getting back on track.I go to see the Neuro Surgeon on the 16th of march and were gonna see what he wants to do.But anyway Nancy and I hope to see you all at the next cruise. 92ZR1Wannabe
Ouch, back problems are serious issue. Get it taken car of ASAP Ya ive been to 3 doctors so far. Started with the family doctor, moved to the Neurologist, then to the pain therapist. Next stop is the Surgeon. Im not a big fan of the idea of getting a operation on my back, but in the last 6 months i have been out of work 8 weeks for this. Thats simply unacceptable for me.So I plan on having whatever can be done to FIX the problem instead of making it not hurt , until the next time. Guest XLR8TNC5
Trust me, I understand the whole back problems thing. You hang in there and listen to your docs. Also, it does take a long time to recover from a back injury, and I honestly think they never heal back to 100% ever again. Just keep the cold packs, heating pads, and pain killers handy and that will help you out a bit as well. lol, Im no doctor, but having hurt my back before, I understand what you are going through. I hope everything gets better real soon for ya. Especially the part where you can't stand riding in a car. That has got to be killing you not to be able to drive your Vette. I wish you the best.T

Little pain today but still have a partial dead lower RIGHT leg. Good luck to you and hope for all the best! Thats exactly where my problem is also.Did going under the knife help you out? (I know its a case by case thing , but im just intersted).Im not so worried about the current pain i have, I worry more about what happens to me when i happen to piss my back off and end up out of action for a month or more. I would rather get cut, have mild pain to deal with then the constant fear of what can/will happen.(Dunno if that makes sense , but i think if youve suffered from this youll know exactly what i mean)
