Bob Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 There's about $100 worth of expended F1 Runflat sprinkled liberally in the sweepers of PIR (Payson International Raceway). Woke up at 4:00 AM and said "Hmmmm, sounds like a good time for a Payson Run". No trafic, no cops, 95-100 in the 50 mph sweepers. Saw a guy in a C6 Vert when I turned around to come back but he didn't want to give chase. Good stuff, first time I've pushed the car a little and I really didn't push that hard. I looked at my clock when I left the Matzal Casino just outside Payson, then when I hit Fort McDowell Casino and (If I'm not mistaken), I believe it took me 24 minutes between the points. I never went over 120 and that was only a few times in known "safe zones". Other than that is was 90-100, but I pushed it in the corners.
