Good stuff Victor. You're already .3 sec faster than me so I've got some catching up to do. What are you launching at? Or is that top secret?

LOL  ...... I think my last launch was right around 4000 (wasn't data logging or aiming for a specific RPM), but my plan is to go to 5000 to get as close to max torque as I can get.

Those 26/11.50/17 M/T ET bias ply held me back on trap speed and grew so much in overall diameter near the end of the run, I ended up staying in 3rd and crossing the beams near the rev limiter. My best 60' times that night were 1.521 (the run I hit the brakes on), but I've gone 1.49 on 315/30/18 Hoosier Drag radials, so the switch back to a 275/40/17 should be a good move if they can hold a 5000 RPM launch.

My 4th pass Friday night was my best, where I ran it out the back door.

That’s pretty awesome Tom for as little as you did to get that fast.

Thanks Dawg . Too many people think throwing lots of over-priced and over-hyped parts at cars and getting a dyno tune is the answer. What you don't see is all the minor changes and the time spent to make all the parts work together and understanding the results to make adjustments. The nearly 450 1/4 mi passes didn't happen overnight. There's still two or three tenths left in the car while it remains a DD if I get more serious and even more if I made it's primary use for the track.

RR Bob's car would easily been quicker, but it wasn't until the end that he let me help him and then never made a full pass before he wrecked the car. The guy who did his tune messed up the shift points so bad, he was in 5th gear at 104 mph. I'm sure Bob's car would have run 10.7's with some minor tweaks and removing the 100# of tools and junk in the hatch.:lol

Ran this yesterday. 2nd quarter mile pass in this setup still leaving off the foot brake and no ice in the air to water. We had 3 vettes run 8's yesterday at street car takeover as well.
