FastGlass Corvette Club meets there and they've put out that they'll sell ZR1's at $500 over invoice. They're just hoping for that idiot that pays window. old yeller
The red ZR-1 I saw at Thorobred Chevrolet was showing 10k over MSRP for a grand total of 122k. They said they were willing to deal though.

HOXXOH
A grey ZR-1 was at Speedworld Saturday. I heard the guy bought it Wednesday and it only had 132 miles on it before his first 1/4 mile run. After several attempts in the 12's and 13's he supposedly made a high 11 pass before he fried the clutch. Those engines may be handbuilt and broken in, but the clutches aren't. Wishbone
Thats awesome, we have one dealership thinking there is no recession, and on the other hand we have a new owner of a ZR1 without any drag racing time under his belt. I sudgest practicing on something easier to work the bugs out with considering those parts are going to be really expensive.

You haven't seen me post up a C6 Z06 for sale like someone else I know, just sayin'... I didn't want to blow the cover story that it was Ed in the new ZR1 at Speedworld on Saturday I'm hoping to take my friend Fred's VY 2010 ZR1 for a ride over the holidays.....that might sway me, but I think I would have to triple my salary to afford one, or sell my home and move into Lou's guest house....it's bigger than my home anyways
Tim
Ford did the same thing with the Mustang Cobras 30k over market. Saw it myself at HomeTuttle. Salesman said..because we can. I heard Ford wasn't to happy about it (a couple stockholders I know, mentioned it.) Some one might remember this. When Mazda released the mazda miata back in the 1980's ??? Dealerships in CA were adding 7-10k on the cars.

az-gold
I wonder who the lucky chap is going to be who'll pay this "Limited Production Value" up charge for this beautiful 2010 Cybergrey ZR-1 ? When I was at Midway back in early October I saw this very car and the same "limited production value" sticker. When I asked if they really thought they would sell it for this price they replied: "Yes, it will sell in January." "January?" I asked. To which they replied "It will sell when Barret-Jackson takes place in January. People come to town with pockets full of $$$ who will not get a car at the auction and want to go home with something. It happens every year."

Well Chris...."not there's anything wrong that..." but no, Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet..well I'm sure he was working on it in his log cabin root cellar..It was a big to do in the car world back in California.
