Maybe that's where the Mr. Fusion goes to make the 1.21 Gigawatts?

:chris No Marty, Mr. Fusion only fits Deloreans, for C6Z's they're called Eaton TVS's....

Thanks Dean !

You got it....if I did anything, a TVS2300 would be my choice. I wouldn't be looking for max HP, and positive displacement superchargers have that instant low end torque that really makes a car fun to drive. This hood should be able to accomadate that setup.

Callaway uses this setup on their FI optioned Z06's cars :)

Thanks John.

Pete from Corvette CreationZ hooked me up.....it's a variation of the carbon fiber MCM hood sold by West Coast Muscle Cars and other vendors, but it has a slightly taller power buldge to fit the TVS style top mount blowers.

The stripe is a variation of the 427 LE style found on the Will Cooksey cars....

Thanks Tom !!!!

It's turning out as I had envisioned :) Brian and company over at Gateway have gone the extra mile for me.....the hood has over 6 coats of hand sanded clear to make the carbon fiber 'stripes' blend right into the rest of the painted surface, you can't feel the stripe edging at all :)

Now that the secrets out about the hood (Pete asked me to post a few on CF, that other's have now scene), I'll post a few more on the car.

Sorry for the blurry images....

Anybody see anything else new on the front of the car ?

Smoked lenses and no chin spoiler?

There is another item, though.........Hhmmmmm :pensativo:

Wider fenders

Nope, same stock fenders :)

No more Corvette emblem, looks much cleaner. I'd shoot 'em if they put it back on.

We have a winner !!!!! IMHO it looks ALOT cleaner without the emblem, so I had them fill in the mounting holes where the emblem usually goes.

I am still installing the rear Corvette flag emblem but have upgraded to the '09 version with the chrome surrounds...same with the Z06 fender emblems.

You can't see the DRL at the moment but I have swapped out to 60 LED Switchback lights....they are amber during the day but when the headlights or fogs are on the lights change from amber to white. When the blinker is on, they then flash as amber :) I already had the HID fog light conversion.

Switchback light is installed on the driver side in the examples below.

I have also switched to LED versions of the 194 bulb for my running lights and license plate lights.

I've also swapped out to a yellow 65W H9 bulbs for my high beams like the ALMS cars have...they put out the equivalent of 145W's.

Car should have a unique look when driving down the road at night :yeah:
