Service Dept Oreilly Tucson

I had an annoying clunk in the suspension over bumps and uneven pavement at low speeds. Took the car in to Oreilly Chevrolet in Tucson with a copy of TSBs for endlinks, Diff fluid change, and rear wheel drive nut in hand expecting a run around and got the direct opposite. They replaced all four endlinks, changed the diff fluid, and checked the drive nut no questions asked. They also replaced the weather stripping without me saying anything because the service advisor saw a few discolored spots on them above the windows. Top notch service all around.

Great to hear. I don't know why they'd give you trouble, doesn't GM pay the dealerships to fix TSB's?

Sure, but I have still always gotten the run around at other dealerships. In this case, they bent over backwards, car had no extra miles on it, service advisor called me four times to let me know what was going on, and they fixed things I didn't even mention. I know they are just doing what may be expected but I have been to other places that were a nightmare and I would never go back warranty work or not.

What year is your car? My windshield weatherseal is shot! It leaks when raining..... although I am no longer on stock end links, I doubt that would be considered at all anyways. wait, is your ride an 08?

GM pays dealers on TSB's only if the vehicle is still under factory warranty.

LOL..good one.

Unfortunately, haven't had good service from OReily's...for the S10 I use to have nor for my 84 Corvette, except the body shop, where the S10 was fixed four times for accidents - they did a great job there.

Watsom Chevrolet actually has a "CORVETTES ONLY" parking lot in th eback. When I took my car there, I tap danced around the "I am anal about my car" subject. he read right through me and said "Don't worry Sir, we have a Corvette sonly parking area" I was like, "Yeah right" he says "Please drive your car and follow me... Sure as shit, they did!!! I even took pics!!!!!

Well that's your problem, right there. Hardly any people have teeth in Tucson. :D

OK...that was good!

O'Reily had been working hard to fix things in their service department.
