Eddie44
Today, we pause to remember Pearl Harbor and the Americans who sacrificed their lives for this country. We also salute the young people who will take on the new risks of war to keep us secure. In the words of Dwight D. Eisenhower, "We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it." Bigfoot
I was surprised this morning when we did the moment of silence and I told the kids to make it an extended one because of it being and especially important day...and several knew why without me saying it. Eddie44
We can only hope that September 11th, 2001 does not fade into history! News Flash! It already has. Ask any 12 yr old for the significance. I'll bet you'll be disappointed.
