It can be used as a standard treadmill by locking the tracks down or can be used as tread climbing style treadmill. The unit cost over 1300.00 new. I have seen them for upwards of 2000.00 on the web. Bowflex bought out Nautilus so you may see them listed as Bowflex treadclimbers now.
