Bob
So I did a run this past weekend and bottomed out a couple of times. Sounds like I have an exhaust leak, then the CEL comes on. Uh-oh...... Take it into the shop on Monday and left exhaust bank is setting a lean code. Check out the system and my left header has a 4" half moon crack at a mounting point and there is some fresh "rash" on that header 6" in front of the crack. 1) I need to stop going through those dips on Vulture Mine Road at 100 mph. 2) Good thing I have a kid that can weld beautifully. 3) The right header was leaking at the gasket anyway, so I'll know both our at the same time 4) Once in the air it is eveident my rear tires are toast (8,000 miles, NO BURNOUTS!!! ) 5) Water pump is seeping, ehhh, replace it. Oh well, it's just parts.......

Can't remember if you're lowered on the stock bolts or not, but I haven't bottomed out yet on that run....definetly at the limits of the suspension travel but no dragging of the under carriage. I'm suprised you even got 8K out of the GY knowing the way we drive on the runs. How many miles you got on your Z now ?

Had the headers on last time Stock height (as far as I know) I bottomed out last time but figured it was the front air delfector for the radiator 18,900 miles on the car. I'm thinking of going with the Generals, CHEAP, lots of tread and good reviews.
FNBADAZ06
I don't think you're going to like the lack of turn-in those General tires are going to give you, given our driving styles. They will ride smoother and quiter, but that's the trade off for the responsive steering. Even with the Invo's, I find that I'm putting 36 psi cold into them to give me a better turn in feel, but even then they are definetly not as responsive as the GY F1's because of the lack of side wall stiffness. When it comes time to replace the Invo's, I'm going to look at a stiffer sidewalled tire, like the NT01 or 05's.
