chevyguy1969
just about any major chain has them this time of year. Just make sure you read all the warnings and instructions before performing your first hot oil turkey bath. the too big ones are no water or ice and don't over fill your pot. Good luck and happy Turkey day.
Buccaneer
Hey Phill, just make sure you do it AWAY from your garage and vette just incase things go wrong.

Phill's Vette
Okay, I go one at Walmart for $49.99 and spent another $50 on the peanut oil...... This is going to be the best damn turkey I have ever had dammit!! I am going to cook up some friends turkeys first, so mine should be the best. I'll be sure to take pictures............. Thanks for the advice and info! Wish me luck.....
Eddie44
I had considered doing a deep fried turkey but when I figured out it took $50 worth of oil to cook one $15 bird my common sense took over. As Dawg said, be sure to get pics. Especially as the fire trucks pull up to the house.
Guest Kens06
Good Luck Bro!! My brother-in-law has been doing them for about 10 yrs...... He was in construction and built all his own stuff! I love the taste but the prep is crazy!! Have fun and read the instructions cuz 450* hot oil hurts if you aren't careful!! Ken
c7speed
Smoking is better flavor, in my opinion. But yummy either way!
Scratch
I've always heard how good they are deep fried, tried it a few years back F'n gross...folks tell me whoever fried it did it wrong...I don't know. Good luck with yours.
Loud Pedal
Neck down, a$$ up. This is very important unless you want a turkey / peanut oil volcano. Don't forget to inject it with some goodness first. It is really good prepared this way but as others have said... respect the heat in that bucket. I'm going with the spit rolled in with some apple and cherry wood smoke. I did it last year and it was insanely good. No drippings in the pan 'cause they were all still in the bird. Let the brining begin tomorrow! Nom nom nom nom

jstrutt
It is a shame as that pic depicts actual scenes in some parts of the world. That as an avatar would pee me off but not a fake dog getting booted, a fake cat getting juggled or a sheep getting..............never mind. Ted Y
For clarification, my post was satirical in nature. I am neutral about how to cook cats.
