HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU! Time is ticking away and before you know it, it will be time for Corvette'N America Road Tours? bigger & better 2nd annual event. The dates are June 8-10, 2006. We have some exciting news! We are pleased to announce that we will have two fantastic guest speakers, both General Motors VIPs, who will be joining us for the entire weekend.
They are; Arv Mueller, former Chief Engineer for Buick-Oldsmobile-Cadillac, Chief Engineer for Chevrolet-Pontiac-GM of Canada, Group Vice President of the GM Technical and Design Center and Group Vice President of GM Powertrain. Arv will be joined by Jerry Palmer who was inducted into the National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame in 2000 and has held many GM design positions including Executive Director of Design for GM?s North American Operations. Jerry began his GM design career in the 1960?s working under Bill Mitchell and was responsible for the design of the C4 Corvette to the most recent Z06.
In addition to speaking at the awards banquet on Saturday evening, both Arv and Jerry will be joining the road tour to Sedona and will be at the Show and Shine to engage in one-on-one discussions regarding all aspects of engineering and designing of our beloved Corvettes.
As if that?s not exciting enough, we have a few other incentives to encourage you to register early. We are currently offering a 20% discount for the 25th & 50th registrations received (event fees only; merchandise not included). This is a savings of $48 for a couple attending the entire event. We?ll let you in on a secret, we currently have 20 registrations. So time it just right. Also, don?t forget, if you register by Feb. 1st, you will be entered in a raffle for a one night complimentary stay at Flagstaff?s Hampton Inn & Suites. The accommodations are good for either a deluxe Jacuzzi room or fireplace suite and are good through 6/30/07. Please see the attached registration form. You can either mail or fax it in.
A complete brochure will be mailed out in February to all of those on our mailing list. On the front cover you will see this year?s event design that will also be featured on our event tee-shirts.
