Once again we will trek across the desert to the wide spot in the road called Gila Bend.
After we descend en mass to this quiet little speck on the map we will make our way over to the home of Dwayne Tomko. The Tomko family will be hosting a BBQ cookout for lunch. We will all get to eat and sit and BS with other ACE members.
This is the 4th running of this event and it gets better each and every time. Last year was a little wet out but we still had a great showing. Lets see if we can get even more Corvettes to invade the village of Gila Bend.

One of the very first ACE events was the Gila Bend BBQ Cruise. Each year it gets bigger and better, and I hope this year will top them all. Dwayne Tomko and family host a wonderful event at their home in Gila Bend Arizona. We get together, have lunch, sit and talk and meet other Corvette Enthusiasts and enjoy a fantastic cruise / parade to and from Gila Bend. It's fun to watch a large number of Corvettes parade into the small town each year and it always turns heads and gets the town's attention.
If there is any event in the year that I would like EVERYONE to attend, it is this event.
Last year the east group drove out and met the west group and we drove through Buckeye. This year we are turning it around and going through Maricopa.
West side group can meet at Lowes on Dysart road and I-10. From there everyone should leave around 9:00 a.m. and drive out to meet the east group at Krispy Kreme at Arizona Mills Mall. East Group will meet there at 9:30 a.m. and by just after 10:00 a.m. everyone should be there in time to leave and head out to Gila Bend together.
