Actually the AC comes out quite easily that way. With the cradle & mounts in place, the bolt for the rear lines is a beotch to get to and you have to pull the water pump to get the compressor out of the bay. If I wasnt changing the mounts and since this is the 2nd compressor in 3 months. I didnt want to drain the cooling system again..... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And it's filthy because the freggin oil sending unit decided to loosen itself and spew a quart of oil all down the back of the block... plus a possible, but hopefully not, coolant leak.
