Bromley's Corvettes Posted May 13, 2017 Share Posted May 13, 2017 Looking for a new or used 4in cowl hood for my 81 vette. New Big block is going in next week. I just have the stock hood right now dont want to cut a hole in it. Would also maybe use a L88 style for the right price. Please let me no what you have or if you no any good places to buy one. Bromley's Corvettes Posted May 15, 2017 Author Share Posted May 15, 2017 I ordered a 4in bolt on cowl scoop if I cant find the hood I want I will screw it on and have the whole hood wrapped in carbon fiber. If I dont like how that looks we will glass the scoop on and paint it to match. The stock hood fits great so be nice to keep it on the car. Some after market hoods fit like crap.
