NativeAz
I am officially retired!Started on a "To-Do" list for the '73.Didn't take long to add a number of items to the list.- Tires- Brake Pads- Brake fluid flush- Trans fluid/filter change- Oil/filter change- Coolant flush/change- Bushings are looking a little "tired"- Points/condenser, perhaps the dist cap- Spark Plugs, perhaps wires- Several pieces of weather strip ...list goes onI may have to get a job to afford the parts needed! There appears to be another list.....the "honey-do" list. Hmmm, wonder which has priority...

insatiableOne
todays day in age there should never be points condenser, unless you just like strife.
Eddie44
The trick is to balance the Honey Do list and the 73 list. Do just enough of the Honey Do's to keep Honey off your back while working on the 73.

In that case, still yank out the distributor and install HEI and then if you must sell it original condition, put the old one back in.
Bromley's Corvettes
We use the Pertronix elec IGN and coil or a HEI with tach drive. Points where out dated when they where made lol.
