First ride for the C3

One of the small town Chev dealers outside of Mpls had their "drive-in" show today.....(a great alternative venue vs Cars & Coffee held next to Prince's Palisley Palace which was a total ZOO today)  They give you a T-shirt, feed you pork sandwiches and water you down with pop.....heck of a deal for showing up.   I drove out with 3 others from the NCRS club on a back road "farm tour" getting there.  Perfect day.  This was the first real drive I've had in the C3 this year.  The old girl still runs like a champ!

My favorite car at the show was this purple '57.....it is a knock out!

And what small town was that?

Belle Plaine, MN.  Home of Cambria countertops, formerly headquarters of Excelsior Henderson motorcycles that went bankrupt a dozen years ago.

It's an '81 with a 4 spd.  After 25 years it's still a fun ride.....but much slower then a C7.

Good luck with parking!  I can't do a lift but I rent a 30ft storage unit close by to hold a car and 3 motorcycles.
