Ed Stralko's Son has been color sanding the GS.  He couldn't get the pics to post so I told him I would. All I can say is WOW!

Is that Ed Sr's car?

Takes more guts than I have to wet sand thin factory paint.

The boy has his own little "side gig" going on detailing cars, he called me last week and said "Hey Dad lets colorsand the Vette!" So, last Saturday we knocked it down with some 2500 paper then chased over that with some 5000. (can't remember how many beers were involved). Hope to have her finished up this weekend, will post final results later.:cheers

Looks great!

I stayed sober when I hit mine with the sandpaper............the neighbors thought otherwise when they came over to see me sanding a new Corvette.  :blink

If you want a real shine, sandpaper is your best friend.

I thought you used a little body lotion and a micro fiber towel to shine your noggin?

Purdy!

The paint may be thin but there is enough factory clearcoat to work with.
