I posed a question to an online tire and wheel dealer about C5 rims. Asked if I could put them on my 81 with proper backspacing and tire diameter fitment(27" diameter match)...short answer, no, go with 0mm to -6mm offset. Ummmm, swear I've seen folks do that. Now, I'm not sure I'd go that route but it got me thinking I should find someone who may ask me some info about my car first instead of throwing an answer out.
