I have several of those. I need more than one to satisfy myself.

All of them do not retract easy once extended. So getting them to release can be a little..... difficult. I have to slap it around it to get it to release

It a dental tool to hold your mouth open while the dentist inflicts as much pain as humanly possible.

Or a SMILE TOOL used by a plastic surgeon to set that stupid PERMANTE grin.

Brake caliper piston compressor?

Yeah, but that's no fun ....:lol
C-clamp works just as well.

XTCHARLEY is correct.

C-clamp does NOT work as well, too cumbersome and prone to slipping off the back of the caliper. . .

And nowhere near as fast....

BTW, What brand is that one? It looks a little better than my Lisle one...

Strange...I've never had an issue using a c-clamp.

Me either, but Donna swaps out brake pads when she tracks the car so I imagine this slick tool to be pretty efficient and quick

Well, you guys have simple old C5's. This is a fancy modern C6. That's why.

Was looking for a one handed operation to quickly compress pistons. When we take our cars to the track events we ended up having to do this twice a month. Once to replace street pads for moe aggressive track pads. Then back again to street pads. The track pads make a terrible squeeling noise during normal driving conditions. I have used a clamp for many years. I was hoping this would be faster and only require one hand.
